On the closing day campers will participate in an obstacle course (Victory Dash) to win points for their team and become the winners of the entire week. On Saturday, the last day of camp, our program runs from 8:45 AM – 11 AM.A brief opening day ceremony takes place where campers will learn the story behind our camp, find out which one of two teams they will compete on for the entire week, and don their legion’s shirt for the first time. On the opening day, campers get to know CG Victory staff and counselors by participating in several team building games.Bring a lawn chair, water bottle, sunscreen, hat or sunglasses! We invite the entire family to come out and watch the final competition between both teams, and our end of week award ceremony. #Our victory day camp series
A typical day consists of a series of group warm-ups, cheers, competitive games, and relays, along with time to discuss and learn more about Christ through large and small groups led by our counselors. Each day at Ignite, campers are motivated to engage their mind, body, and soul.We love seeing the children enjoying our beautiful campus.
In addition to the Drew Hamilton Camp, which is new this year, we have also hosted Our Victory Day Camp (a camp for children with special needs) for many years.

One camper, Lassell, 10, gave the camp a big thumbs up. While on campus, they enjoy our Olympic-sized pool, play sports, do arts and crafts, hike in the nearby woods, and much more.
#Our victory day camp free
The kids begin their day at CV’s Drew Hamilton Community Center in Harlem, and are participants in our free summer camp for kids ages 5 to 12. Three days a week, our campus Recreation staff get an extra burst of kid energy when a big yellow school bus rolls to a stop in front of the Lanza Activities Center and a bunch of exuberant kids emerge, barely able to contain their excitement.
